One look at Ram’s just announced 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition, and it’s tough even to call it a pickup truck. Sure, this Ram is plenty rugged though it’s also extra cozy. Ram equips it with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 or 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine. A Crew Cab body configuration is standard with a 5-ft.-7-in. or 6-ft.-4-in. bed length available. It’s got 12,750 lbs. of towing capability and 2,300 lbs. of payload.
But Ram leaders spend more time talking about this truck’s interior than anything else.
“The new 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition is a tip of the Stetson to 10 years as a stand-alone brand building the best trucks, featuring the ultimate combination of capability, luxury, and refinement,” said Mike Koval Jr., Head of Ram Brand. “Truck buyers in this rarified air expect to see and feel the highest quality materials, and the Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition is another example of how we deliver the most luxurious pickups in the industry.”

In fairness to Ram, today’s casual truck buyers – those dealers say trade-in trucks with no wear in the beds – want a trendy, rugged body that envelopes an interior akin to a lush living room or man cave. Look at the almost six-figure price tag on Ford’s popular F-150 Raptor if you need convincing. But we digress.
Interior Treatments: Leather & Chrome
Ram used touches of wood, leather, and metal reminiscent of “hand-tooled leather cowboy boots or a horseman’s saddle” and antique pocket watches to craft this Edition’s body. Other style points, like the chrome-slat grille, chrome bumpers, tow hooks, and side steps (power optional), also come standard. Want your truck to sparkle a bit more? You can opt for a Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition tailgate badge, multi-function tailgate, and new 20-inch wheels with various finishes.
Interior Treatments: Special Details
As you’d expect, Ram built an inside that “boasts the pinnacle of luxury and refinement.” That means a leather-wrapped dashboard, new suede door bolsters, and leather bolster seat inserts with a Laser Filigree detail to highlight the truck’s southwestern style. Of course, there is a 10th Anniversary Edition cluster graphic and badge, a gloss black shifter center cap, a metal pedal kit, and a brushed-zinc antique badge flush with the console lid.
Pricing & Availability
You can buy all of this luxury for a starting MSRP of $56,870, plus $1,695 destination. They’re available now. If the 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition isn’t your thing, that’s okay. Ram has a number of other special edition trucks, including the Southwest Edition, Built to Serve Edition, and the North Edition.
